Your ceremony your way
You can officially say ‘I Do’ in our licensed open barn or in our three-acre meadow. If you prefer a more personal ceremony with a celebrant or friend officiating you can get married anywhere on site.

With a gorgeous meadow, open barn with a stretch tent, accessible toilets, 3 phase power and kitchenette already on site, the practical pieces are in place so you can focus on the creative touches. Dress the barn with foliage, pitch Giant Tipis or a Sailcloth Marquee on the meadow, line the pathway with festoon lights - our space is here to make your dream day come true.

Our dedicated event planner, Fay will be on hand throughout your planning, offering timeline support, supplier contacts and calm reassurance so you remain relaxed and supported from your first enquiry to the last dance. Fay will be here to help guide you, so you can rest assured you will be supported throughout your time with us.

Mill Farm can host up to 200 guests, making it ideal for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. The three-acre meadow gives you the flexibility to scale your event to suit your vision.

Yes! Our open barn is fully licensed for civil ceremonies, so you can legally say ‘I Do’ on site. Or you can also choose to hold anywhere across the grounds.

We’re situated on the borders of Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, on the outskirts of the village of Gamlingay. We’re just 20 minutes from Cambridge and approximately one hour from London. The nearest train stations are Sandy & Biggleswade.

As a blank canvas venue, you’re free to choose your own structure supplier. Popular options at Mill Farm include Tipis, Sailcloth Marquees and Stretch Tents, all of which work beautifully in our meadow setting. We can connect you with our preferred suppliers if you need guidance.

Mill Farm has onsite accommodation sleeping up to 28 guests, including the Mill Farm farmhouse and five luxury bell tents. Additional camping is also available for larger groups, so your nearest and dearest can stay and celebrate all weekend with you.

Absolutely. Mill Farm is a no tied-suppliers venue, meaning you have complete freedom to choose your own caterers, bar, entertainment and décor. We have a trusted list of recommended local suppliers we’re happy to share, but the choice is entirely yours. We also do not charge corkage.

The venue includes 3-phase power for live bands and entertainment, a kitchenette, accessible toilets, shower facilities and ample parking. Everything you need for a seamless event is already in place so you can focus on making it your own.
